We consistently find that around 1 in 2 teens experience some degree of bullying, with up to 7 in 10 experiencing cyberbullying.
We always recommend talking openly with young people about bullying so that they willingly share any concerns with you and it doesn’t become a ‘taboo’ subject. It’s important not to dismiss the bullying as “part of growing up” and to “ignore it”. This will only teach them to tolerate bullying behaviour.
We have compiled a comprehensive guide on Do’s and Don’ts When your Teen is Being Bullied. Click here to read the full guide.
