Join our Advisory Board Now!
Each day, thousands of young people visit our website to seek advice and support surrounding bullying and related issues. In the past 3 years, we have quickly grown to be one of the largest anti-bullying charities in the UK, with innovation at our very core. It is in the interest of building on existing innovation and encouraging participation that we are now launching an exciting new advisory initiative. Split into 2 sections, our ‘Advisory Quarter’ will consist of:
• The Youth Advisory Board: for 12 teens aged 13-18
• The Adult Advisory Board: for 12 adults aged 18+
The purpose of the advisory initiative is to steer Ditch the Label in the right direction to ensure that our interventions are as impactful as possible and inclusive for all. We are inviting 24 supporters to join the Advisory Quarter and are eager to include a team that is rich in diversity and different experiences. As an Advisory Board member, you will help guide the vision and future work of Ditch the Label through your input and sharing of ideas, concepts and feedback with Ditch the Label Management.
The Youth Advisory Board will meet twice a year and the Adult Advisory Board will meet four times per year. Each session will typically last for 4 hours and will give us an opportunity to share with you our ideas for the future in return for your feedback. The sessions will also enable you to collectively, as a board, put forward your own ideas for the consideration of our management team.
